Description

Absen PL2.9 Pro V2 LED Display

The Absen PL2.9 Pro V2 XL is a high-resolution indoor and outdoor rental LED panel designed for live events and large-scale screen builds. Featuring a 500 × 1000 mm ultra-lightweight format, it combines extreme brightness, high contrast, and fast installation for demanding event environments.

Visual Performance

With a 2.9 mm pixel pitch, the PL2.9 Pro V2 XL delivers high-resolution imagery for close-to-mid viewing distances. Ultra-high brightness of up to 3,000 nits and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio ensure excellent visibility in both indoor and outdoor conditions, even on large-format LED walls.

Technology

Absen Common Cathode technology with black-faced SMD LEDs enables precise power control, delivering up to 20% lower heat generation and up to 20% higher brightness*. Advanced calibration and image processing ensure consistent colour and brightness across ultra-large LED screens.

Design & Durability

The XL 500 × 1000 mm panel format reduces the number of panels required for large LED builds, enabling faster installation and cleaner screen layouts. Weighing approximately 26 kg per square metre, the PL2.9 Pro V2 XL is significantly lighter than typical LED panels while remaining robust for indoor and outdoor rental use. With an IP65/54 rating, it is engineered for demanding live event environments.

Installation & Maintenance

Designed for rapid deployment, the PL2.9 Pro V2 XL supports one-person handling with magnetic connections and an integrated auto-lock system for fast, precise installation. The lightweight construction and larger panel size allow for quick setup, reconfiguration, and breakdown.

Applications

Large-scale indoor and outdoor LED screens for live events and touring. Concerts, festivals, broadcast productions, exhibitions, and high-impact corporate events.
