The Martin Audio Blackline X8 is an ultra-compact passive two-way loudspeaker designed for portable sound reinforcement and installation environments. Despite its compact size, it delivers high output performance suitable for a wide range of professional audio applications.

Audio Performance

The X8 combines an 8-inch low-frequency driver with a 1-inch compression driver mounted on a 90° × 50° horn, delivering clear and balanced sound with a frequency response of approximately 70 Hz to 20 kHz. A user-rotatable horn allows the speaker to be configured for horizontal or vertical orientation depending on the venue layout.

Design & Installation

The speaker is housed in a symmetrical multi-angle plywood enclosure finished in black textured paint and protected by a perforated steel grille. An integrated handle and mounting inserts allow flexible positioning, while M8 mounting points support bracket or suspension installation. A pole-mount socket enables use on standard speaker stands, and twin NL4 connectors with 8-ohm impedance allow straightforward system integration.
